Choose which AI model generates SQL for your queries. Local (Ollama) models run entirely on your machine — no data leaves your network. Cloud models (Claude) offer higher accuracy but send your query text and schema names to external servers.

When a Claude cloud model is active, every query you submit sends the following to Anthropic's API servers:

Your natural-language question
Your database's table and column names (schema)
AI Instructions you have configured
Conversation history from the current session

Row data is NOT sent — only the structure of your database and your questions.
